Bid Whist - Card Game

Bid for control by declaring how many books you will win and choosing trump or no trump, plus Uptown or Downtown. Form teams 2v2 or play solo, then start the hand with the high bidder leading the first card. Follow suit when possible; if void, play trump to capture the trick according to the selected direction. Leverage Jokers and Deuces as the highest trumps when a suit is chosen to swing key tricks. Win enough tricks to fulfill your contract while preventing opponents from reaching theirs to set them back. Score points for successful contracts, with higher bids and no trump earning more, and race to the target score to win the match.
