Euchre ^

Form a two player partnership and race your team to 10 points. Receive five cards each and reveal the top card of the kitty, then choose to order it up to set trump or pass. If all pass, name a trump suit in the second round or pass again; with stick the dealer on, the dealer must choose. Elect to go alone to play without your partner for higher rewards if your hand is strong. Follow suit if you can; highest trump wins the trick, otherwise highest card of the led suit wins. Score 1 point for taking 3 or 4 tricks as maker, 2 points for a sweep, 2 points to defenders for a euchre, and 4 points for a successful loner.
