Choose a table, select a ruleset or house rules, and take your seat against players or AI. Draw a tile and discard one each turn to shape your hand toward a valid winning pattern. Form melds such as Chow (sequence), Pung (three of a kind), and Kong (four of a kind), keeping a pair to complete your hand. Call tiles from opponents when allowed to complete melds, or pass to preserve hidden hand value. Declare mahjong as soon as your hand qualifies, then review scoring with Filipino-specific bonuses and penalties.
