Download and Install: First, download the Samsung Smart Switch Mobile app from the Google Play Store or Galaxy Store on both your old device and your new Samsung Galaxy device. If you're switching from an iPhone, download the app on your new Samsung device. Choose a Transfer Method: Wireless Transfer: On both devices, open the Smart Switch Mobile app and select “Wireless” as the transfer method. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the two devices. USB Cable Transfer: Connect your old device to your new Samsung Galaxy device using a USB cable and the appropriate adapter. Open the Smart Switch app on your new device and select “Cable” as the transfer method. PC/Mac Transfer: If you prefer, you can use a computer as an intermediary. Download and install Smart Switch on your PC or Mac, then connect both devices to the computer using USB cables. Follow the on-screen instructions to transfer your data. Select Data to Transfer: Once the devices are connected, you’ll be prompted to select the types of data you want to transfer. Choose from contacts, messages, photos, apps, settings, and more. You can customize the selection based on your needs. Begin the Transfer: After selecting your data, tap “Transfer” to begin. The app will handle the process, and you can monitor the progress on your screen. Depending on the amount of data, the transfer may take a few minutes. Complete the Transfer: Once the transfer is complete, your new Samsung Galaxy device will have all your selected data and settings. You can now disconnect the devices and start using your new phone with all your familiar content.
