1. Download and create an account: Download Snapchat from the App Store or Google Play and create an account using your phone number or email address. 2. Snap a photo or video: When you open Snapchat, the camera will automatically open. Tap the capture button to take a photo or hold it down to record a video. You can also switch between the front and back camera by tapping the camera icon in the top right corner. 3. Apply filters and effects: Once you've taken a photo or video, you can apply filters, lenses, and other effects by swiping left or right on the screen or tapping the smiley face icon. You can also add text, drawings, stickers, and emojis. 4. Send Snaps: To send your Snap, tap the blue arrow button in the bottom right corner and choose who you want to send it to. You can send it to individual friends, a group of friends, or post it to your Story. 5. Watch Stories: To view your friends' Stories, swipe left on the camera screen or tap the Stories icon. You can also search for Stories based on your interests or location. 6. Chat with friends: To chat with friends, swipe right on the camera screen or tap the Chat icon. You can send text messages, photos, videos, and even make video calls. 7. Explore Spotlight: Spotlight is a new feature that showcases the best Snaps from the Snapchat community. You can submit your own Snaps or browse and share your favorites with friends. 8. Save Memories: You can save your Snaps and chats to Memories, which is a personal collection of your favorite moments. You can edit and share Memories with friends or save them to your camera roll. 9. Share your location: You can choose to share your location with friends using the Map feature. You can also see where your friends are and explore live Stories from around the world. However, be mindful of your privacy and use Ghost Mode if you don't want to share your location. 10. Customize your Friendship Profile: Each friend on Snapchat has a Friendship Profile, which shows your history together and common interests. You can customize your profile by adding Charms, which are badges that show how long you've been friends, your astrological compatibility, and more.
