Description:
Staff Sketch Pad 2 is a fast, intuitive music notation app for students, teachers, and composers to quickly capture musical ideas on a digital staff. Core features include easy freehand and point-and-click notation tools, instant playback with selectable instrument sounds, and simple export options (MIDI, MusicXML, PDF) for sharing or further editing. Designed for music education and practice, it offers a low learning curve, stylus and touchscreen support, and workflow optimizations for lesson use and composition sketching.
How to use:
1. Download the app and create an account or continue as a guest to start a new score.
2. Choose a template (clef, time signature, key) or open a blank staff to begin sketching.
3. Add notes using the freehand pen or notation palette, then press play to hear your sketch with selectable instrument sounds and adjustable tempo.
4. Use editing tools to move, erase, or annotate measures, and use loop playback for practice or teaching.
5. Export or share your work as MIDI, MusicXML, or PDF, or save to cloud storage for access across devices.
