1. Download and set up your profile by entering vehicle details, battery capacity or electric efficiency, gas fuel economy, and your local gas and electricity rates. 2. Log your first data by adding a fueling event and a charging session, or record a trip with distance and estimated energy use. 3. Open the dashboard to view cost per mile, monthly spend, energy mix between electricity and gasoline, and projected savings versus gas-only driving. 4. Use the planner to compare trip costs under different charging and fueling options, and identify the cheapest time and place to charge based on your rates. 5. Turn on advanced features such as time-of-use rate schedules, budget targets, alerts for low-price charging windows, and export reports for taxes or reimbursements.
