1. Download and Install: Start by downloading and installing the DoorDash app from the App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android). 2. Sign Up or Log In: Open the app and either sign up for a new account or log in if you already have one. You can sign up with your email address or through your Google or Facebook account. 3. Enter Delivery Address: Enter your delivery address to see the available restaurants and stores in your area. You can also set your address as your current location using GPS. 4. Browse and Choose: Browse through the list of restaurants or stores available for delivery in your area. You can filter by cuisine, type of food, or specific stores. You can also search for specific restaurants or stores. 5. Select Items: Once you've chosen a restaurant or store, browse through their menu or product offerings. Select the items you want to order by tapping on them. You can add special instructions or preferences for each item. 6. Customize Order: If desired, customize your order by adjusting portion sizes, toppings, or substitutions where available. Some restaurants also offer special deals or combo meals that you can select. 7. Review Order and Proceed: Review your order items, quantities, and total cost. Make sure everything is correct, and then tap "Proceed to Checkout" or a similar button to continue. 8. Choose Delivery or Pickup: Select your preferred delivery method - either delivery to your address or pickup from the restaurant or store. If you choose delivery, you may be asked to confirm your address or provide additional delivery instructions. 9. Add Payment Method: Enter your payment information. DoorDash accepts various payment methods including credit/debit cards, Google Pay, Venmo, Paypal, and SNAP/EBT (at participating locations). 10. Place Order: Review your order details, delivery address, and payment method. If everything looks good, confirm your order by tapping "Place Order" or a similar button. 11. Track Your Order: Once your order is placed, you can track its progress in real-time. You'll be able to see when the Dasher (delivery driver) picks up your order and when it's on its way to you. 12. Enjoy Your Delivery: Sit back, relax, and wait for your order to arrive. You'll receive notifications and updates on the app regarding the estimated delivery time. That's it!
