Set Up Your Soliom Pro Camera: Charge the Camera: First, ensure your Soliom Pro camera is charged. If you are using the solar-powered version, place the camera in a location where it can receive direct sunlight to maintain a continuous charge. Install the Camera: Choose a location for your camera (indoors or outdoors) and mount it using the provided mounting kit. The camera is designed for simple installation, and you can position it anywhere with a good view of the area you wish to monitor. Power Up the Camera: If your model has solar charging, make sure the solar panel is positioned optimally to capture sunlight. If the camera uses a rechargeable battery, ensure it is properly charged and ready for use. Connect the Camera to the App: Open the Soliom Pro app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect your camera. You’ll need to link the camera via Wi-Fi. View Live Feed and Recordings: The app allows you to view live video feeds from your camera anytime, anywhere. You can zoom in to focus on specific areas or pan to different camera angles (if applicable). The camera can record videos either continuously or when motion is detected. You can access recorded footage from the cloud or local storage (depending on your camera model and settings). Use Two-Way Audio: Many Soliom Pro models come with two-way audio, allowing you to both listen to sounds in the camera’s area and speak to anyone in view of the camera. This feature is useful for interacting with visitors or monitoring the situation in real time, especially when you are not physically present. Set Up Cloud Storage or Local Storage: You can configure cloud storage to save footage, making it easy to access and review later. The Soliom Pro app may provide free cloud storage for a limited time, or you can subscribe for more extended storage options. Monitor and Manage Multiple Cameras: If you have multiple Soliom Pro cameras, you can monitor all of them through the app. The app allows you to switch between different camera feeds, and you can assign each camera a name or location for easier identification. Adjust Motion Detection Zones: The Soliom Pro camera features motion detection, but you can fine-tune the areas of motion sensitivity. Use the app to define specific zones or areas where the camera should monitor for movement, ensuring accurate alerts without unnecessary notifications from non-relevant activity. Receive Alerts and Notifications: Soliom Pro provides real-time notifications whenever motion is detected, or the camera captures something important. You’ll get an alert on your phone via the app, and you can view live footage immediately to assess the situation. Additionally, you can set custom notification rules based on time, motion sensitivity, or other triggers. Maintain Your Camera: Regularly check that the solar panel (if applicable) is clean and getting enough sunlight to ensure continued charging. You may also want to occasionally check the camera’s firmware and update the software through the app to ensure optimal performance.
